Game time, TV coverage set for Rutgers’ regular-season finale at Michigan State

The Big Ten has set a time for Rutgers’ final regular-season game.
The final tilt of the regular season for Rutgers will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30 when the Scarlet Knights (6-4, 3-4 in Big Ten play) take on Michigan State (4-6, 2-5) in East Lansing, Michigan. The game will be broadcast on FS1, the conference announced Monday.
Rutgers and Michigan State have met 15 times overall. The Spartans lead the series with a 10-5 record and 8-2 mark since 2014 when Rutgers joined the Big Ten. The Scarlet Knights’ signature win in the series came last year when they rallied from an 18-point deficit in the fourth quarter to pull out a 27-24 victory on a rainy day at SHI Stadium in Piscataway.
Coming off its most-complete performance of the season, Rutgers clinched a bowl berth Saturday with a 31-17 victory over Maryland in College Park, Maryland. Quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis led the offense with 238 yards and two touchdowns and no interceptions on 20-of-30 passing while the defense held a second straight opponent well below its season average for the second week in a row.
Michigan State, meanwhile, has lost three games in a row to Michigan (24-17), No. 5 Indiana (47-10) and No. 24 Illinois (38-16). The Spartans will try to snap their three-game losing streak Friday when they face last-place Purdue (1-9, 0-7)
Here is the remainder of the Scarlet Knights’ schedule in the 2024 season:
Saturday, Nov. 23: vs. Illinois (noon, Peacock)
Saturday, Nov. 30: at Michigan State (3:30, FS1)
